The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Tolman Tigers (Pawtucket, RI) and the visiting Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), observed Tolman's basketball team knock off Cumberland by a score of 59-49.

The Tigers (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Thunderbolts come into the Division I challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Cranston East was knocked off by West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 70-57, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Clippers encounter the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division I challenge, on Friday, January 31. Cumberland will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 70-57 non-league loss to West Warwick (West Warwick, RI).
