In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting East Catholic Eagles basketball team scored a big 79-53 triumph over the Tolland Eagles.
The Eagles (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Albany Academy for Boys (Albany, NY). The Cadets go into the non-league contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Albany Academy for Boys smashed St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT), 67-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the RHAM Raptors (Hebron, CT) in a Central Connecticut - East Patriot contest, on Saturday, February 1. Tolland will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Raptors go into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 54-33 league loss to Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT).
