Illinois High School Basketball - Schlarman trounced by Armstrong

The Schlarman Hilltoppers basketball squad (Danville, IL), was crushed 55-28 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL)

With the victory, Armstrong advances its record to 9-14 on the year. The Trojans travel to Watseka/Milford (Watseka, IL) to meet the Warriors in a Vermilion Valley battle on Thursday, January 30. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 21-1. Watseka/Milford won 57-20 in their recent league battle against Westville (Westville, IL)

The Hilltoppers now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Georgetown-Ridge Farm for a Vermilion Valley battle on Thursday, January 30. Schlarman will meet a Buffaloes squad coming off a 46-12 non-league win over Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL). The Buffaloes record now stands at 11-10.
