Colorado High School Basketball - Smoky Hill trounced by Cherokee Trail

The Smoky Hill Buffaloes basketball squad (Aurora, CO), was crushed 67-12 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO)

With the victory, Cherokee Trail advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO) to meet the Bruins in a 6A Centennial battle on Friday, January 31. The Bruins enter the battle with a record of 11-5. Cherry Creek won 57-29 in their recent league battle against Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO)

The Buffaloes now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mullen for a non-league battle on Friday, January 31. Smoky Hill will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 51-34 league loss to Grandview (Aurora, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-6.
