Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL), 69-20 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The host Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 12-11.
The Chargers now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aqsa for a Metro Prep match on Thursday, January 30. Islamic Foundation will meet a Legends squad coming off a 41-36 league loss to Universal (Bridgeview, IL). The Legends record now stands at 3-8.
