In Wednesday's league contest, the host Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers basketball team scored a big 53-32 triumph over the Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros.
The Tigers (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL). The Raiders go into the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, North Shore Country Day trounced Lycee Francais de Chicago (Chicago, IL), 37-29, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cristeros encounter the Our Lady of Tepeyac Tigers (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Prep challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Cristo Rey Jesuit will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 44-16 league loss to Ida Crown Jewish Academy (Chicago, IL).
