The La Plata Warriors nipped the host McDonough Rams basketball squad by a final score of 49-46 in Wednesday's league outing.
Next, the Warriors face the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a Southern Maryland outing, on Friday, January 31. La Plata will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Hurricanes enter the outing with a 12-1 record after their 55-54 league win over Great Mills (Great Mills, MD).
The Rams (4-9) will now prepare for their outing against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The enter the Southern Maryland outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, St. Charles was nipped by Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD), 40-28, in a league outing.
