Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) and the visiting Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ), saw Buena's soccer squad triumph over Desert View by a count of 6-0.

The Colts (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ). The Caballeros enter the 5A Southern battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Flowing Wells was overwhelmed by Douglas (Douglas, AZ), 9-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Jaguars battle the Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) in a 5A Sonoran battle, on Friday, January 31. Desert View will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ).
