The Phillips Academy Big Blue ice hockey team scored 4 points and held the host Winchendon Wapiti to 1 in the Big Blue non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Big Blue now own a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loomis Chaffee School for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Phillips Academy will encounter a Pelicans team coming off a 4-3 league win over Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT). The Pelicans record now stands at 5-9.

With the defeat, Winchendon moves to 11-12 on the season. The Wapiti travel to Canterbury School (New Milford, CT) to encounter the Saints in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 2. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Canterbury School won 4-3 in their recent non-league bout against Albany Academy for Boys (Albany, NY)
