The Overlea Falcons (Baltimore, MD) basketball edged the host Catonsville Comets (Baltimore, MD), 53-49 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Pikesville for a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. Overlea will play a Panthers team coming off a 68-35 non-league win over Carver A&T (Towson, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Catonsville falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Comets host Eastern Tech (Baltimore, MD) to play the Mavericks in a bout on Friday, February 7. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 10-3.
