In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Wheeler Bearcats basketball team scored a good 39-22 triumph over the Hebron Hawks.

The Bearcats (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN). The Warriors go into the contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Hammond Bishop Noll was topped by Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN), 69-37, in a non-league contest.
