Rhode Island High School Basketball - St. Raphael Academy nips Woonsocket

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host St. Raphael Academy Saints basketball team scored a close 58-51 triumph over the Woonsocket Villa Novans.
The Saints (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers go into the contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Chariho nipped Rogers (Newport, RI), 60-30, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Villa Novans battle the Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 1. Woonsocket will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
