The Quaboag Regional Cougars basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Auburn Rockets to 59 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southbridge for a South Worcester County - B contest on Friday, January 6. Quaboag Regional will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 76-52 non-league loss to Millbury (Millbury, MA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-5.

The Rockets (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA). The Warriors come into the South Worcester County - A contest with a 4-2 record.
