Augusta Southeastern Suns (Augusta, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL), 45-7 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Augusta Southeastern upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Suns host Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL) to play the Panthers in a West Central bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Camp Point Central won 51-43 in their recent non-league bout against Augusta Southeastern (Augusta, IL)

Next up, the Cyclones play the Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) in a Prairieland bout, on Friday, January 6. West Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Bombers go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 65-13 league win over Lewistown (Lewistown, IL).
