The Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY) basketball felled the visiting South Glens Falls Bulldogs (South Glens Falls, NY), 52-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Warriors (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Shenendehowa was beaten by Kingston (Kingston, NY), 50-46, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Hudson Falls for a Section 2 Foothills test on Friday, January 6. South Glens Falls will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 62-52 non-league win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
