Massachusetts High School Basketball - Barnstable knocked off by Martha's Vineyard Regional

The Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Barnstable Red Hawks to 44 in the Vineyarders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vineyarders now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nauset Regional for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Martha's Vineyard Regional will battle a Warriors team coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Cape Cod Academy (Osterville, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
The Red Hawks (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Monomoy (Harwich, MA). The Sharks enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Monomoy ran past Sandwich (East Sandwich, MA), 50-39, in a non-league contest.
