The Cloquet Lumberjacks basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Barnum Bombers to 38 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lumberjacks now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aitkin for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Cloquet will meet a Gobblers team coming off a 53-49 league win over Pierz (Pierz, MN). The Gobblers record now stands at 3-3.
The Bombers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Deer River (Deer River, MN). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Deer River was routed by Red Lake (Red Lake, MN), 75-73, in a non-league contest.
