The Evart Wildcats (Evart, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, MI), 59-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Pine River Area (Leroy, MI). The Bucks go into the Highland test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Pine River Area notched a victory over Mancelona (Mancelona, MI), 51-41, in a non-league test.
The Beavers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Shepherd for a Jack Pine test on Thursday, January 5. Beaverton will encounter a Bluejays squad coming off a 60-46 non-league loss to Alma (Alma, MI). The Bluejays record now stands at 5-1.
