In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Shadyside Tigers (Shadyside, OH), by a margin of 72-65.
The Big Reds (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Union Local (Belmont, OH). The Jets go into the non-league outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Union Local held off John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV), 58-45, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Shenandoah for a Ohio Valley AA outing on Friday, January 6. Shadyside will clash with a Zeps squad coming off a 62-43 non-league win over Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH). The Zeps record now stands at 5-4.
