Bennington Badgers (Bennington, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE), 69-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bennington upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Platteview (Springfield, NE) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 9-0. Platteview won 59-46 in their recent league bout against Roncalli Catholic (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Rams play the Gross Catholic Cougars (Omaha, NE) in a B District 3 bout, on Friday, January 6. Ralston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 50-34 non-league loss to Concordia (Omaha, NE).
