The Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting Liberty Mountaineers (Clarksburg, WV), 54-35 in Tuesday's league test.
The Indians (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights go into the Big Ten test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Preston went down by Lewis County (Weston, WV), 62-38, in a league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Philip Barbour for a Big Ten test on Thursday, January 5. Liberty will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 75-33 league loss to Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Colts record now stands at 4-4.
