With the victory, Brother Rice upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI) to play the Pilots in a Catholic Central challenge on Friday, January 6. The Pilots come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. De La Salle Collegiate lost 65-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI)

Next up, the Cougars play the Royal Oak Ravens (Royal Oak, MI) in a Oakland - Blue challenge, on Monday, January 9. Stoney Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Ravens come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 56-38 non-league loss to Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI).
