Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) and the visiting Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA), saw Brusly's basketball squad hold off Central Lafourche by a count of 72-66.

With the victory, Brusly upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 8-5.

Next up, the Trojans play the Terrebonne Tigers (Houma, LA) in a 5A District 7 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Central Lafourche will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
