The Camanche Indians basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host West Branch Bears to 49 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prince of Peace Prep for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Camanche will battle a Irish team coming off a 62-40 non-league win over North Cedar (Stanwood, IA). The Irish record now stands at 6-1.
The Bears (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cascade (Cascade, IA). The Cougars come into the River Valley contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Cascade edged Independence (Independence, IA), 74-59, in a non-league contest.
