King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA), 64-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, King's Academy upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Knights host Oak Grove (San Jose, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-4.

Next up, the Scots play the Sacred Heart Prep Gators (Atherton, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Carlmont will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 78-73 non-league loss to Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA).
