The Central Davidson Spartans basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Watauga Pioneers to 49 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ledford for a 3A Conference 47 contest on Friday, January 6. Central Davidson will battle a Panthers team coming off a 50-46 non-league loss to Davie (Mocksville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 7-5.
The Pioneers (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans come into the 3A/4A Conference 52 contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, South Caldwell was defeated by St. Stephens (Hickory, NC), 47-42, in a non-league contest.
