Parkrose Broncos (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting David Douglas Scots (Portland, OR), 61-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Parkrose upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Broncos travel to Putnam (Milwaukie, OR) to play the Kingsmen in a 5A Northwest Oregon bout on Monday, January 9. The Kingsmen go into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Scots play the Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood bout, on Tuesday, January 10. David Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
