The Red Lion Christian Academy Lions basketball team (Bear, DE), was overwhelmed 57-32 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Delcastle Technical Cougars (Wilmington, DE)
The Cougars now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Appoquinimink for a Blue Hen Flight - A battle on Thursday, January 5. Delcastle Technical will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 45-40 non-league win over St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-1.
The Lions (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Milford (Milford, DE). The Buccaneers come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Milford was overwhelmed by Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE), 68-49, in a non-league battle.
