Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Edinburg Wildcats (Edinburg, IL), 57-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Nokomis upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Redskins travel to Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL) to play the Lancers in a bout on Friday, January 6. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Lincolnwood won 50-39 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Hartsburg-Emden Stags (Hartsburg, IL) in a Tomahawk bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Edinburg will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
