Illinois High School Basketball - Eldorado succumbs to Mt. Carmel

The Mt. Carmel Golden Aces topped the visiting Eldorado Eagles basketball team by a final score of 56-40 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Golden Aces face the Robinson Maroons (Robinson, IL) in a Little Illini game, on Friday, January 6. Mt. Carmel will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Maroons enter the game with a 8-6 record after their 53-43 non-league win over St. Anthony (Effingham, IL).
With the defeat, Eldorado moves to 7-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Carmi-White County (Carmi, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a Black Diamond - East game on Friday, January 6. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 9-4. Carmi-White County lost 51-49 in their recent non-league game against Carterville (Carterville, IL)
