In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Ellsworth Bearcats (Ellsworth, KS) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Larned Indians (Larned, KS), by a margin of 60-22.

The Bearcats (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Republic County (Belleville, KS). The Buffaloes go into the North Central AA outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Republic County was trounced by Concordia (Concordia, KS), 62-38, in a non-league outing.

The Indians now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Skyline for a non-league outing on Friday, January 6. Larned will clash with a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 70-50 non-league loss to Lyons (Lyons, KS). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 4-3.
