The Fairfax Lions basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Gardena Panthers to 45 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Pasadena for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 4. Fairfax will meet a Tigers team coming off a 81-52 non-league loss to Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 10-2.

The Panthers (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO). The Buffaloes enter the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Smoky Hill ran past South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA), 81-52, in a non-league contest.
