In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Foothill Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 63-41 triumph over the Lassen Grizzlies.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Enterprise Hornets (Redding, CA) in a Eastern match, on Thursday, January 5. Foothill will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 9-6 record after their 46-40 non-league loss to McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA).

With the defeat, Lassen moves to 7-7 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA) to meet the Thunderbirds in a non-league match on Thursday, January 5.
