The Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Forest Grove Vikings (Forest Grove, OR), 54-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Olympians (6-6) will now prepare for their test against McNary (Keizer, OR). The Celtics go into the 6A Central Valley test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, McNary got by West Albany (Albany, OR), 70-62, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Reynolds for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Forest Grove will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 62-58 non-league win over Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-4.
