In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA), by a margin of 70-65.

The Panthers (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Emmaus (Emmaus, PA). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Emmaus held off Northampton (Northampton, PA), 55-35, in a league outing.

The Patriots now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Easton Area for a Lehigh Valley outing on Friday, January 6. Freedom will clash with a Rovers squad coming off a 56-29 league loss to East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Rovers record now stands at 1-9.
