With the win, Kirtland upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to North (Eastlake, OH) to play the Rangers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Eagles play the Chagrin Falls Tigers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Geneva will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 64-52 non-league win over Chardon (Chardon, OH).
