Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA), 71-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gladbrook-Reinbeck upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Rebels host East Marshall (Le Grand, IA) to play the Mustangs in a North Iowa Cedar - West bout on Friday, January 6. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-6. East Marshall won 63-59 in their recent league bout against West Marshall (State Center, IA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - East bout, on Friday, January 6. Hudson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Cyclones go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 72-69 league loss to Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA).
