The Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX) basketball felled the visiting Jal Panthers (Jal, NM), 36-26 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Loop (Loop, TX). The Longhorns go into the 1A Region I District 8 test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Loop thwarted Cotton Center (Cotton Center, TX), 48-29, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they host New Mexico Military Institute for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5.
