California High School Basketball - Valley Center trounces Grossmont

January 3, 2023: El Cajon, CA 92021

The Valley Center Jaguars (Valley Center, CA) basketball crushed the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), 56-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Jaguars (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Monte Vista was trounced by Santana (Santee, CA), 64-58, in a non-league test.

The Foothillers now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Imperial for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 4. Grossmont will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 58-37 non-league loss to West Hills (Santee, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-4.
