Northwestern Eagles (Mendon, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hale Cardinals (Hale, MO), 72-64 in a league bout.

With the win, Northwestern upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Higbee (Higbee, MO) to play the Tigers in a CLAA bout on Friday, January 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-1.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Hardin-Central Bulldogs (Hardin, MO) in a CLAA bout, on Friday, January 13. Hale will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
