The Marksville Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Holy Savior Menard Eagles to 43 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grant for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Marksville will battle a Cougars team coming off a 55-20 non-league loss to Bunkie (Bunkie, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-9.
The Eagles (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton Christian (Lake Charles, LA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Hamilton Christian was defeated by Tioga (Tioga, LA), 61-59, in a non-league contest.
