The Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers basketball team (Houston, TX), dropped 65-50 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX)

The Rams now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Galena Park for a 5A Region III District 19 battle on Saturday, January 7. Waltrip will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 73-43 non-league loss to Westside (Houston, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-15.

The Tigers (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Chavez (Houston, TX). The Lobos come into the 6A Region III District 18 battle with a 8-14 record. In their last battle, Chavez prevailed over Scarborough (Houston, TX), 73-54, in a non-league battle.
