The John Marshall Monarchs basketball team (Glen Dale, WV), was toppled 58-45 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH)

The Jets now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellaire for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. Union Local will confront a Big Reds team coming off a 72-65 non-league win over Shadyside (Shadyside, OH). The Big Reds record now stands at 7-0.

The Monarchs (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against University (Morgantown, WV). The Hawks come into the Ohio Valley AAAAA battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, University was toppled by Morgantown (Morgantown, WV), 83-55, in a non-league battle.
