Layton Christian Academy Eagles (Layton, UT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA), 67-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Layton Christian Academy upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA) to play the Chancellors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Chancellors come into the bout with a record of 3-10. Chatsworth won 78-65 in their recent non-league bout against University (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 78-65 non-league loss to Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA).
