The Lake Region Lakers basketball team (Naples, ME), was overwhelmed 61-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the host York Wildcats (York, ME)
The Wildcats now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greely for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 5. York will battle a Rangers team coming off a 72-41 league win over Freeport (Freeport, ME). The Rangers record now stands at 2-5.
The Lakers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Freeport (Freeport, ME). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Freeport was overwhelmed by Greely (Cumberland Center, ME), 72-41, in a league battle.
