The Lakeridge Pacers (Lake Oswego, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR), 86-85 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pacers (6-4) will now prepare for their test against North Medford (Medford, OR). The Black Tornado go into the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, North Medford was tipped by Nelson (Happy Valley, OR), 61-54, in a non-league test.
The Apollos now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host South Salem for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Sunset will encounter a Saxons squad coming off a 61-53 non-league loss to Century (Hillsboro, OR). The Saxons record now stands at 3-9.
