Monomoy Sharks (Harwich, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sandwich Blue Knights (East Sandwich, MA), 50-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monomoy upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Sharks travel to Barnstable (Hyannis, MA) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Barnstable lost 62-44 in their recent non-league bout against Martha's Vineyard Regional (Oak Bluffs, MA)

Next up, the Blue Knights play the Carver Crusaders (Carver, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Sandwich will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 52-41 league loss to Middleborough (Middleborough, MA).
