Washington High School Basketball - Squalicum succumbs to Mount Vernon

The Mount Vernon Bulldogs topped the visiting Squalicum Storm basketball team by a final score of 72-56 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game, on Wednesday, January 11. Mount Vernon will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record.

With the defeat, Squalicum moves to 4-6 on the year. The Storm host Anacortes (Anacortes, WA) to face the Seahawks in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Thursday, January 5. The Seahawks enter the game with a record of 9-1. Anacortes won 69-55 in their recent league game against Lakewood (Arlington, WA)
