Wisconsin High School Basketball - Nekoosa ripped by Portage

The Portage Warriors basketball team scored 97 points and held the visiting Nekoosa Papermakers to 54 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sauk Prairie for a Badger - West contest on Thursday, January 5. Portage will battle a Eagles team coming off a 55-36 non-league win over Lodi (Lodi, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.
The Papermakers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mauston (Mauston, WI). The Golden Eagles enter the South Central contest with a 3-5 record.
