With the victory, Nettleton upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Noxubee County (Macon, MS) to play the Tigers in a 3A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS) in a 2A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Potts Camp will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 74-51 non-league loss to Amanda Elzy (Greenwood, MS).
